Starlink Cable Lengths [Every Cable in ft. and m]

For a new Starlink connection, knowing the length of the cables provided is very useful during installation and setup.

So I have curated this article to list the exact dimensions of the cables provided in the box and the various options you have in case the in-box materials don't suffice.

Given below are the various lengths of cable that are provided by Starlink for their dishes:

Starlink Cable Lengths

The previous generation circular Starlink dish came with a 100 ft cable, whereas the rectangular dish comes with a slightly shorter 75 ft Starlink cable, with official options for an extended cable. The high-performance dish comes with an 82 ft cable, and the flat high-performance version comes with a shorter 26.2 ft Starlink cable.

Starlink Cable Length for Circular Dish

Starlink Cable Length for Circular Starlink Dish

The Starlink circular dish was provided by Starlink for customers who enrolled in the service during its beta stages.

Despite this, the circular dishes work completely fine with the Starlink system and you will not need to worry about replacing them with the newer model.

Given below are the lengths of all cables, including the Starlink cable that comes with the Starlink kit with a circular dish:

Length of Starlink Cable30.5 m (100 ft)
Length of AC cable (router)1.8 m (6 ft)
Starlink Cable Lengths for Circular Dish

Starlink provides the following cables for customers with a circular Starlink dish: a Starlink cable and an AC cable for the power supply.

The Starlink cable connects the Starlink dish with the Starlink router.

Since the circular design was meant for beta customers, you no longer have to worry about a fresh installation as all new customers are provided the rectangular dish instead.

But if you are getting a used circular dish, then you might be content with the fact that Starlink provides a pretty long 100 ft Starlink cable.

Unfortunately, this cable is nondetachable, and therefore you don't have many official options for a replacement or extended cable.

The AC cable that comes in the box is adequately long too, at 6 ft.

Rectangular Starlink Dish-Cable Lengths

Rectangular Starlink Dish-Cable Lengths

Starlink provides the rectangular Starlink dish for their Starlink Residential and Starlink RV subscribers.

This is the upgraded version of the circular dish, and therefore has a few upgrades(and potential downgrades) when it comes to the cable situation.

Given below are the lengths of all cables, including the Starlink cable that comes with the Starlink kit with a rectangular dish:

Length of Starlink Cable22.9 m (75 ft)
Availability of Cable extension45.7 m (150 ft)
Length of AC cable (router)1.8 m (6 ft)
Starlink Cable Lengths for Rectangular Dish

Starlink provides a Starlink cable and an AC cable for customers opting for the rectangular Starlink dish.

The AC cable is almost the same length as the previous generation, at 6 ft.

But Starlink, for some odd reason, has reduced the length of the Starlink cable by 25%, and now sits at 75 ft.

75 ft is by no means a short cable, but the choice for reducing the cable length compared to the previous gen circular dish's 100 ft seems very odd.

But there are quite a few upgrades too.

Starlink has now made the Starlink cable detachable from the dish, making it user replaceable in case of damage due to wear and tear.

Starlink also released a 150 ft cable extension as an optional accessory for those who want the extra length.

The 150 ft cable extension cannot be connected to the 75 ft stock Starlink cable to make a mega 225 ft cable, but aftermarket options are available for extensions.

High-Performance Starlink Dish-Cable Lengths

Starlink Cable Length for High-Performance Starlink Dish

Starlink provides their high-performance Starlink dish for subscribers of their Starlink Business, Premium, Maritime, and recently, Residential plans too.

This is a more premium dish offering that provides much better performance than conventional circular or rectangular dishes.

Given below are the lengths of all cables, including the Starlink cable that comes with the Starlink kit with a high-performance dish:

Length of Starlink Cable25 m (82 ft)
Length of AC cable (router)1.8 m (6 ft)
Length of AC cable (power supply)1.8 m (6 ft)
Ethernet Cable5 m (16.5 ft)
Router Cable2 m (6.5 ft)
Starlink Cable Lengths for High-Performance Dish

Starlink includes a Starlink cable, two AC cables, an ethernet cable, and a router cable in the box for the high-performance Starlink dish.

The length of the Starlink cable is slightly longer than the one provided with the Starlink rectangular dish, at 82 ft.

The downside, unfortunately, is that the 150 ft replacement cable is not compatible with the high-performance dish.

The AC cables are also of the same length as other models, at a very decent 6 ft.

The ethernet cable sits at a very comfortable 16.5 ft and the router cable is also decent at half a foot shy of 7 ft.

Flat High-Performance Dish-Cable Lengths

Starlink Cable Length for Flat High-Performance Starlink Dish

The flat high-performance Starlink dish is for RV customers who need to use Starlink in-motion (while the RV is moving).

Given below are the lengths of all cables, including the Starlink cable that comes with the Starlink kit with a flat high-performance dish:

Length of Starlink Cable8m (26.2 ft)
Length of AC cable (router)1.8 m (6 ft)
Length of AC cable (power supply)1.8 m (6 ft)
Ethernet Cable5 m (16.5 ft)
Router Cable2 m (6.5 ft)
Starlink Cable Lengths for Flat High Performance Dish

The flat high-performance Starlink dish, unlike the rectangular dish for Starlink RV, is meant to be a permanent attachment to the roof of your RV.

This is probably the reason why the Starlink cable is cut short to just 26.2 ft, which is more than ample for such an implementation.

The rest of the cable setup is very similar to the high-performance Starlink dish.
